Blogs I Have Enjoyed
August 14, 2025Sid
When I opened Mastodon today, I was pleasantly surprised to find a mention from Sid, a fellow blogger and artist saying "...I read the entirety of your blog and I really liked it..." To say I'm honored is an understatement. Thank you, Sid!
That comment alone was enough to make my day, but there's more. Sid also linked to Fluid Lines Media on his own post: Blaugust 2025. He also has links from other bloggers with descriptions of why he likes them. I love the style of the post because it's written to be updated daily during Blaugust. It reminds me of blogs that put every post on a single page, which I also love. The cool thing about Sid's method is being able to have the same feel for specific topics. You get to see and be a part of what's going on as events unfold. I love that. Sid also has an impressive collection of paintings.
Axxuy
What I love about Axxuy is the straight to the point style of writing. You get the important info right away. The posts are short, but they are full at the same time. When I read a post by Axxuy I leave inspired, and I can feel myself start to fill up with my own ideas that feed off of what I've read. Like this one that inspired one of my own posts.
Nik Kantar
Nik has been posting the kinds of things that make me think deeply. One of my favorites during Blaugust is called Stop Pleasing Deathbed You. I found myself stuck in the shower (my favorite place to think) as I went over the concept in my head. I'm still thinking about it. That's the kind of content that makes me want to write, and I'm here for it.
Angry Bunny Man
Talk about style! If I wanted to show someone how blogging is absolutely an art form, I'd point them to Angry Bunny Man. It's hard to put into words just how great it is. When you can post about Italian sandwiches in a way that makes me feel like I've been staring at a beautiful painting, you have my attention.
More to come:
There are so many more great blogs out there. I wish I had time to go ahead and tell you about them all. I'll continue to add to the list and turn it into a blogroll.
